he establishment of Geo Doctors forum is based on idea of a team of young engineers and students who are led by Dr K C Lam, City University of Hong Kong. The primary objective of the forum is to provide a web-based learning facility to facilitate the students, professionals and academics from the Great China and Overseas to exchange of knowledge, ideas and experiences in geotechnical engineering field.

hrough Geo Doctors forum, the team encourages participants discourse in different aspects from the field of engineering. The forum facilitates a formal communication channel for participants to communicate with world class reputable scholars, professionals and experts all over the world. Advanced technologies, innovative ideas, engineering problems and the latest research works can be exchanged and transmitted to every participant, therefore, learning and teaching, exchange and collaboration activities can be stimulated. As a result, the quality of learning and teaching can be improved significantly.

he Geo Doctors' working team hopes to reinforce the learners in all aspects of skills in learning. To achieve our mission, the team invites your support in all aspects of activities within the forum. Besides, the team trusts that the Geo Doctors would become the pioneer and foundation stone of geotechnical engineering forum in the Great China, with its own distinguishing characteristics attracting more people to visit, and contribute more to the development of geotechnical engineering field around the world.

Cambridge Professor Malcom Bolton's seminar at CityU
Professor Malcolm Bolton is the Director of the Schofield Geotechnical Centrifuge Centre.
